"El Vito*

A one-woman show

A packed audience at the Friends Regional Gallery Caloundra’s Christmas Party were treated to a musical extravaganza on Thursday 23 November at the Caloundra Regional Gallery.

Written, arranged and performed by Marina Posa, El Vito tells the story of two long-time friends Maria and Giada. Maria is intent on dedicating her life to singing, while Giada is on a quest to make her stop.

Using a clever combination of video and live performances, Marina—playing both roles with grace and ease—delighted her audience with a story line and exquisite singing in French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Marina Posa, a world-class Sunshine Coast mezzo-soprano and the brilliant and delightful pianist, Julian Wade, are a match made in musical heaven."

"soulful and vocally powerful performance" Farrago Magazine Melbourne, 2019
