Two long time friends Giada and Maria.

​

Giada is a sophisticated know it all, one of those "friends" that are constantly trying to sabotage everyone around them because they think they know everything.  For a long time Giada has been doing this  to Maria making her believe that her dreams and talents are worthless and that she should stop singing and stop dreaming.

​

Giada's power over Maria grows to the point that Maria feels completely paralysed by self doubt.

El Vito! the show, is Maria's last desperate attempt to reclaim that lost part of herself Giada has managed to take away.

During the show we go on a journey with Maria hearing her reflections on life and love through Brazilian and Spanish song.

​

Maria struggles with herself, her self doubt and there is a moment in the show where she crumbles.  She stops.

Will she carry on with the show? Or will she walk off and give in to Giada?
