Marina Poša
Creative director, producer and performer
Marina, a classically trained, multi-lingual mezzo-soprano, embarked on her journey as a creative artist in 2017. Premiering her first show, "El Vito!," that year, Marina's one-woman performance has graced venues across Queensland, including the Short + Sweet Festival, the Queensland Cabaret Festival, and The Butterfly Club in Melbourne. In 2022, Marina debuted her second show, "I am Maria," at the Queensland Cabfest22, where she assumed roles as producer, director, poet, actor, and ambassador of multiculturalism through Classical Art Song. Selected by Mundo Arts for an art song challenge, Marina showcased her talents in an online global concert. Chosen as one of seven SSI delegates for the 2022 AWMA, Marina also served as an Artist in Residence at Hayward Street Theatre. Additionally, she was selected to participate in the Passage program for the development of new works, supported by RPAC, Redland's Performing Arts Centre. Her latest venture, "Conversations with Maria!," launched at The Anywhere Festival Brisbane in 2024 to an enthusiastic sold out audience.
Hannah Ha Mai
Piano Collaborator
Born amidst the vibrant culture of Vietnam, emerges as a virtuoso pianist, performer, nurturing teacher, and founder of Wonderland Music, Brisbane, Australia. With a passion for music and performance, she eagerly steps aboard to synergise with Marina Poša in her latest project, "Conversations with Maria."
In her current endeavours, Hannah strives to bridge cultures and communities, as she orchestrates the arrival of renowned performers onto the shores of Australia.
Hannah is also very active within the Queensland Music Teachers’ Association, a member of council and involved the in contributing to events such as the Queensland Piano Competition and Queensland Vocal Competition Festival every year.
Julia Lewis
Videography
Julia is an innovative visual content producer and director, educator, manager and experienced writer including TVCs and video scripts. She is currently a manager and educator of a boutique RTO. She has twenty years of experience working in Sydney, London and Brisbane as a TV, video and digital content producer, scriptwriter and editor. Julia has worked on a wide range of documentaries, short films, corporate productions and television commercials, as well as producing video content. She has a BA in Film and Media (Hon), Diploma of Business (Entrepreneurship) and Cert IV (TAE40110) Training and Assessment.
Julia with her talent and determination to support creative women is an integral part of every show produced and directed by Marina with her significant contributions via video content and visuals.
Leon Linh Nguyen
Piano Collaborator
Born in Vietnam and resident in Australia, Leon Linh Nguyen is an award-winning piano collaborator, known for his exceptional talent and versatility. With an impressive career spanning over three decades he has made his mark through countless gigs and band performances captivating audiences all over Vietnam, America, Malaysia and Australia.
Leon’s extensive experience is highlighted by his collaborations with renowned artists such as Bang Kieu, Ngọc Anh, Tuan Hung, Mira Tran, Quoc Thiên, and Anh Tu.
As one of the owners of Music Wonderland in Australia, Leon has contributed to creating a vibrant and nurturing community for musicians and music enthusiasts alike. His dedication to his craft and his leadership at Music Wonderland have significantly contributed to the local music scene, fostering emerging artists and delivering high-quality musical experiences to audiences.
With a career marked by passion, innovation, and excellence, Leon Linh Nguyen is excited to join the team in Conversations with Maria!
